Toward a Co-Creation Hub for Graduate Education

大学院教育は、教育と研究が両輪です。金沢大学大学院教育先導機構（OEGE）は、産学官連携や国際連携を通じた社会との共創を基盤として、より開かれた環境のもとで社会の多様なセクターと共に博士人材を育成する大学院教育への転換を進めます。
博士人材の成長と価値の伸長を支える大学院教育を研究科を超えて全学で実現し、未来への新たな価値を創造し、社会の持続的な発展を牽引する博士人材を育成・輩出します。

Graduate education stands on the dual pillars of education and research. The Organization for Excellence in Graduate Education (OEGE) at Kanazawa University advances a transformation toward graduate education that fosters doctoral talent in collaboration with diverse sectors of society, grounded in co-creation through industry–academia–government partnerships and international collaboration within an open and inclusive environment.
OEGE strives to realize university-wide graduate education that supports the growth and value enhancement of doctoral talent, and to foster and send forth doctoral talents who will create novel value for the future and drive the sustainable development of society.

社会にはいま、複合的・複層的な課題が山積しています。新たな知の創造と、それを基盤とするイノベーションの創出は、社会の持続的な発展にとって喫緊の課題です。
大学院教育先導機構（OEGE）は、未知に挑み切り拓く力を備え、未来社会の創造を牽引する博士人材の育成を通じて、学術の知を社会に還元することを揺るぎない使命としています。
その実現には、国内外のアカデミア、産業界、官公庁、国際機関など、社会の多様なセクターとの協働が不可欠です。
OEGEは、博士学生が高度な専門性に加え、学際性、俯瞰的な視野、構想力、共創力を磨き、社会課題の解決や新たな価値創造につなげる大学院教育・研究環境を、社会の皆さまと共に築き上げていきます。
多様なセクターとの協働による開放的かつ共創的な大学院教育へと転換し、「知」と人材を共に育み、未来を創る原動力となる拠点の構築を目指します。

Society today faces complex and multilayered challenges. The creation of novel knowledge and the innovation built upon it are urgent priorities for the sustainable development of our world.
The Organization for Excellence in Graduate Education (OEGE) is committed to the unwavering mission of returning academic knowledge to society by fostering doctoral talent capable of challenging and pioneering the unknown, thereby driving the creation of future societies.

Achieving this mission requires close collaboration with diverse sectors of society, including academia, industry, government agencies, and international organizations, both in Japan and around the world.
Together with society, OEGE will build a graduate education and research environment where doctoral students hone not only advanced expertise but also interdisciplinarity, a broad perspective, conceptual vision, and co-creation capabilities, linking these to solving societal challenges and creating novel value.
By transforming into an open and collaborative graduate education through collaboration with diverse sectors, we aim to build a hub that cultivates knowledge and talent alongside society, becoming a driving force for creating the future.

Our Organization

OEGEは、プログラム開発部門とキャリア共創支援部門の2部門で構成されています。
両部門が連携し、「入学前」「大学院教育」「修了後」の各フェーズにおける課題解決に一体的に取り組み、大学院教育の高度化を加速します。
さらに、FLAGs事業の連携大学・参画大学とも協働し、各大学の強みや特色を生かして教育・研究資源を相互に共有することで、大学院教育の多様性を高め、博士人材の育成とキャリアの多様化を推進しています。

OEGE consists of two divisions: the Program Development Division and the Career Co-Creation Support Division.
The two divisions work closely together to address challenges across the stages of doctoral education—pre-admission, graduate education, and post-completion—thereby accelerating the advancement of graduate education.
Furthermore, in collaboration with the partner and participating universities of the FLAGs, OEGE leverages the strengths and distinctive characteristics of each university to share educational and research resources. Through these collaborative efforts, we enhance the diversity of graduate education and promote the development of doctoral talent and the diversification of their career pathways.

博士学生と研究者がチームを組み、国際交流、産学連携、スタートアップ活動等を通じて、自ら設定した課題に協働して挑戦し、新たな価値創出と飛躍を目指します。

Doctoral students and researchers form teams to take on self-defined challenges through international exchange, industry–academia collaboration, and startup-related activities, aiming to create novel value and achieve significant breakthroughs.

Doctoral students engage in off-campus practical experiences such as research study abroad, fieldwork, and internships, using society as their field, thereby deepening their international perspective and expertise.
